For finance teams

Finance admin with a person on every payment

Log invoices, reconcile records and chase what is overdue — with anything that moves money held for a person by default.

Anything that moves money stops and waits for a person, by default.

Animation: a Finance template becomes a workflow across its apps, a person approves the sensitive step, the outcome is verified, and monitoring catches a problem, explains the likely cause and recommends the action a person takes.

Where the week actually goes

Finance work is careful by profession and repetitive by accident: the same invoices logged, the same records compared, the same reminder written politely for the third time. Awish carries the repetition from your description of it, in the books, the inbox and the sheets you already keep.

Invoices land where they should and mismatches surface instead of hiding. Each connection is granted on its own and can be withdrawn; every run records what was read and what was written, so the trail an auditor asks for already exists.

The week today

Finance work is careful by profession and repetitive by accident: the same invoices logged, the same records compared, the same reminders written politely for the third time. The care is the job; the repetition is not.

With Awish

Awish carries the repetition from your description of it. Invoices land where they should, mismatches surface instead of hiding, and every action that touches money stops and waits for a person — a default no workflow can configure away.

The workflows, end to end

Three workflows this team runs, end to end — each with its trigger, the apps it touches, and the step where a person approves.

  • 01

    Invoices into the books

“When an invoice arrives, extract the details into my books sheet, hold large amounts for approval, and confirm what was logged.”

    GmailGoogle SheetsWhatsApp

    Approve the exception

  • 02

    Chase overdue invoices politely

“Check each morning which invoices are past due, draft a reminder for each, and ask me before any of them are sent.”

    StripeGmailSlack

    Approve before sending

  • 03

Read expense receipts into the books

“When a receipt is submitted, read the amount, vendor and category, write it to the sheet, and hold anything over my threshold for approval.”

    GmailGoogle SheetsSlack

    Over the threshold, ask

What stays under your control

  • Money waits for a person

Payments, refunds and anything that moves money hold for approval by default. The workflow prepares; a person releases.

  • Mismatches surface

When the record and the statement disagree, that lands in your channel as a question — not silently corrected by either side.

  • The trail writes itself

Every run keeps what was logged, what was flagged and who approved what, which is the shape an audit asks for.

How the whole security model works

Common questions

Can it move money on its own?

No. Anything that moves money is prepared and then held for a person. A declined action is never executed.

What does it need access to?

Only what the plan names — typically the inbox invoices arrive in, the sheet they are logged to, and the channel approvals happen in. Each is granted and revoked separately.

How does it handle reconciliation?

It compares the records you point it at and surfaces every mismatch as a question for a person. It does not decide which side is right.

Is there a record for audit?

Every run keeps its trigger, steps, approvals and outcome. What happened in March is readable in April.
